6 Remedies to remove pigmentation spots

Uncontrolled sun exposure, genetic heritage and natural aging can affect the beauty of your skin, causing brown stains on the face, back, neck, chest, shoulders or hands.

Pigmentation spots can become a nightmare for many women. Before knocking on the dermatologist’s door, try one of the 10 natural remedies that will help you get rid of pigmentation spots:

1. Yogurt

If you ever have experienced skin irritation  caused by sun and you have been fortunate to receive the advice from a person who is a fan of natural remedies, you already know that yogurt is excellent for skin burns. But this super food is useful in the treatment of pigmentation spots, thanks to acids and beneficial bacteria contained. You can apply yogurt directly to the affected area and let it dry, then remove it with cold water, or you use this mixture that will give you a glowing skin: Combine one tablespoon of mustard with a spoon of turmeric powder and one of aloe vera gel!

2. Papaya

We start with a small warning: Papaya is a tropical fruit with miraculous qualities, but can cause allergies, so it is advisable to perform a test of “compatibility” 24 hours before trying its properties. Unless you’re having any problems, you can enjoy its content: AHA acids and enzymes with exfoliating virtues, anti ageing, anti acne and  skin enlightening. Grind the pulp  and apply it on face or on other pigmented area, leave it on until it dries and rinse with warm water.

3. Pineapple

Like papaya, pineapple is rich in enzymes. You can use pineapple juice or pulp (raw fruits). Apply the mix with a cotton pad on the affected areas and let it dry, then clean with warm water.

4. Lemon Juice

Lemon is one of the most effective natural ingredients for skin cleansing and enlightenment, which makes it ideal in treating pigmentation spots. You can apply lemon juice directly on the regions concerned (diluted with water, rose water or honey, if you have a sensitive skin) and rinse after  30 minutes with cold water, or you can prepare a scrub with sugar and lemon juice, and remove it after 10 minutes.

5. Aloe vera

Aloe vera has nourishing and healing capabilities that are useful in treating various diseases!  Use aloe vera gel or juice on the affected areas, leave it on for 30 minutes and clean it with cold water.

6. Apple vinegar


Apple vinegar can cause a burning sensation,but will give fabulous results if it is mixed with honey and water. Apply the mixture on the affect area to get rid of this problem. You can also use  half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, mixed with 3-4 tablespoons of orange juice, which will treat the affected areas. Do not forget to repeat the process once or twice a day for about a month. You will not regret!
